Fake Calls App Reviews

I used to give this app 5 stars but not any more. Like others have said, it seems that the developer is not working at improving the app or fixing any of the issues with it. At about 3 updates back the apps volume started not matching the phones. So even though you may have your phones ring volume all the way up, you may not hear the app ringing. You have to wait for the app to start ringing & then adjust the volume as it rings...not good! It wasnt that way before. If you put the phone to sleep after setting up the app, when the time comes to fake the call, it will NOT ring, only vibrate. Also, when a real call comes in and the phone is in sleep mode, the screen that asks you if you want to answer or decline the call shows up. Not with this app. You first have to use the slider to unlock the phone. Very unrealistic! Which brings me to the next problem. If the previous is not possible, the app should simulate the phone being in sleep mode or home screen while you wait for the "call." Rather than the unlock slider screen. Once more, it looks fake. It should let you choose from ALL your ring tones so that you can use the one you normally use even if it is one that you uploaded to the phone. I also wish that the start up screen didnt have the huge logo on it. You gotta try to hide the phone in hope that no one sees the huge logo popping up like a sort thumb when you start the app. I once saw a guy do that and I knew that he was bullsh*ting his friends. It would also be nice if you could set it up for multiple calls. That way you can act like you declined the call but the caller kept insisting so you had to answer the call. Multi tasking would also be nice! And finally, when you pick a picture to use as the background picture, the app should NOT stretch it out to fit the screen. I picked a picture of a friend of mine and it stretched it out distorting the hell out of it.

I love this app! I just got it and Im already giving it a 5 star review! It is so realistic!

All I did is click settings and changed few things and now it wont let me do a call rip off!!! *_*

This is a great app! Well worth the $1 price. So helpful to get you out of a conversation or situation that you dont want to be in!

Doesnt work. Screen comes up but no sound. I wrote to the creator but they never responded. RIPOFF!

Could not call anyone after the settings

This app used to work great, but it seems that the app was never updated to work properly with iOS 5. Ever since I installed iOS 5 the app quit working, fake calls dont ring, cant select a picture anymore.

Ever since the new update ios 5 it quit ringing!!! cant make a fake incoming call because there is no sound plus crashes alot and cannot scroll on choosing my picture library! Needs an UPDATE ASAP!!!!!!!!

Keeps crashing when I try to pick a photo, and needs so much improvements

I thought I was going to be able to record something to make It sound like a real phone call but I couldnt and my iPod has to be on like the screen has to be lit up for it to ring.

It is good to have a lot more ringtones, but the app really needs to let us use our own ringtones, so that the fake call will sound just like a real call that those around us may have heard before. P.S. Almost four years later now and still no ability to select our own ringtones. I guess that just wont be provided. Time to try another app with that option.

Please update this app for the newer phone models! Ive been using the app for years. With my newer phone I cannot change any of my settings. Its very frustrating because this app has come in handy many times in the past.
